ABOUT XENO
More Than a Decade in Music. A New Chapter as Xeno.
Rony Zino, professionally known as Xeno, is a New York City based artist, songwriter and producer whose journey has taken him from the underground studios of New York to creating a musical world entirely his own.
ARTIST. SONGWRITER. PRODUCER.
Music had always been part of Rony Zino’s life, but in 2015 he began pursuing it seriously. Self taught in engineering, songwriting and production, he spent countless hours experimenting, studying records and learning every part of the creative process.
What began as a personal outlet soon opened doors to professional studios and opportunities to work alongside established artists, with every session helping shape the musician and producer he would become.
Raised by the Sound of New York.
Xeno began his professional journey behind the scenes in New York’s thriving underground music scene, engineering sessions and contributing to songwriting and production across hip hop and pop.
The studio became his education. Those early years taught him how to turn an artist’s ideas and emotions into a finished record, shaping the creative philosophy behind his own music today.
The Records That Changed Everything.
In 2017, Rony Zino met NO1-NOAH through mutual friends. The connection was immediate, beginning an intensely creative period that led Zino to work closely throughout the development of NO1-NOAH’s music.
His involvement extended far beyond recording sessions. He engineered, mixed and helped shape records from their earliest stages, spending countless hours refining ideas until the music captured exactly what they were trying to create.
Songs including “Stuck on Stupid” and “FaceTime for 30” went on to generate millions of streams across platforms.
The experience became a defining chapter in Zino’s development, reinforcing the importance of patience, experimentation and refusing to settle simply because a record sounds finished.
Sometimes the difference is continuing until it feels right.
From Shaping Records to Building His Own World.
Years spent engineering, writing and producing gave Zino a deep understanding of the entire creative process. While helping other artists shape their sound, his own identity was evolving.
That evolution became Xeno. Today, he brings everything he learned behind the scenes into a musical world entirely his own.
Different Artists. Different Cultures. New Perspectives.
During this period, Zino remained active in New York’s underground music scene, producing for K$ace and working in the studio with Smokepurpp.
In 2017, he spent a month creating with Japanese artist KOHH, producing around 15 tracks that blended influences from Japan and New York. These experiences broadened his perspective, encouraging him to experiment and let his sound evolve naturally.
THE SOUND
No Single Genre Defines XENO.
Xeno’s music moves between house, pop and electronic production, shaped by ’80s classics, early 2000s pop, R&B, soul, his Moroccan roots and the energy of New York.
Some records are euphoric. Others are intimate, nostalgic, vulnerable or dark. The sound may change, but the purpose remains the same: create an emotional connection that lasts beyond the music.
After more than a decade spent learning, experimenting, engineering, producing, writing and helping shape the music of others, Xeno is entering a chapter centered entirely around his own vision.
New records. New sounds. New visuals. New ideas.
Every release reveals another part of his story and another piece of the world he has been quietly building.
The years behind the scenes were never separate from the journey.
They were preparing him for what comes next.
